at The Cask

The Cask, Merchant du Vin and Lazy Boy brewing are proud to announce a very special Old World/New World Beer Tasting for Seattle Beer Week. Here’s your chance to try benchmark European Beers from the Merchant du Vin portfolio side by side with homegrown craft beers from Everett’s own Lazy Boy Brewery.

Styles included will feature:

Belgian: Orval Trappist Ale alongside Lazy Boy Belgian

German: Pinkus Organic Ur Pils alongside Lazy Boy Lager

English: Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale alongside Lazy Boy Amber

English: Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout alongside Lazy Boy Porter

Come compare and contrast with us and learn a little something in the process. How exactly are porter and stout related? What is bottle-conditioned beer, and why don’t they come on draft? What makes the boy so lazy?
