SEATTLE BEER WEEK

Ale-achievements all over town in the form of tastings, dinners, pub tours, promotions, comedy nights, brunches, and guest appearances, all championing our favorite beverage, are big hits. Each confirms that Seattle beer drinkers are very lucky. Each year, a different local craft brewer is asked to produce the "official beer" for Seattle Beer Week. Pike was honored to brew our now famous Double IPA, for the first Seattle Beer Week. Since then, Hales, Maritime, Elysian, and this year, Fremont, have had that honor.

Beverage Group) and German beer maven wunderkind. Take a look at seattlebeerweek.com to see why the late Michael Jackson said, "Seattle (and Portland) are the top two craft beer markets in the world." Beer, D.K., 2007'
